Dear David:
MAY 6 REC'D
When I received your newsletter I was reminded that we had
missed connections last time that you were here and that I
owe you a very profound congratulations for steering the
anti-discrimination bill through your legislature. I
know what a tough thing that is to do. I remember that it
was easy until we got close in Massachusetts and then various
opponents really came out from under the rocks and made it
tough. So, I am very much in awe of your ability to get it
through.
I'm really sorry our schedules didn't mesh when you were here
last. If you get this way again, I'm going to make every
effort to make sure that we can get together. Again,
congratulations and please let me know as soon as you know
if you're going to be in the area again.
Incidentally, I'd be very much interested in seeing a copy
of your Sexual Orientation Anti-discrimination Bill if you
could send one along. Thanks.
