However, Genesis 18 and 19 give a vivid account of their fiery destruction because their sin was an abomination to God Almighty. And what was that sin? Homosexuality! God created Adam and Eve and commanded them to be fruitful and multiply not Adam and Harry just to have sex. Throughout the Bible sex is permitted only within the bonds of marriage and is condemned as sin from any other perspective. Putting God's command into practice would also stop all the unwanted teen pregnancies for which Milwaukee is also a national leader. You're entitled to your opinion, but you certainly don't speak for the majority, regardless of a slanted press. As Abraham of old asked God to spare Sodom and Gomorrah for a handful of righteous people who lived there, so I today ask for God's mercy upon Milwaukee and our state. Although God wasn't able to find enough people spare those cities, I pray He'll find enough here. to Homosexuality is forgivable by God. He can deliver anyone who will call upon the name of Jesus. Just as He can take drugs and alcohol and set people free from them, He's able to help anyone who really wants to be straight. He's a good, loving, powerful God who'd far rather save LIS than condemn LIS that's why Jesus died on the cross for us and rose from the dead and now sits at the right hand of the Father interceding for us.
